CCACT uses Teachable as its secure online learning platform. Course registration, payment and access to purchased course materials are completed through our CCACT Teachable school. While there, click “Browse Products” to view our complete course catalogue.
What are CCACT courses?
CCACT offers fully online, self-paced continuing-education courses for internationally educated healthcare professionals, caregivers, students, and lifelong learners. The courses help learners expand their knowledge and build confidence. They do not provide a diploma, degree, professional licence, or regulated vocational qualification.
Who can take the courses?
Our courses are open to anyone interested in healthcare and wellness. Most courses do not require previous education, work experience, or formal admission. Students should be able to read and understand English well enough to complete the course materials and assessments.
Do I need to be a nurse or healthcare professional?
No. Many courses may be taken by people without formal healthcare training, including those exploring a future career in healthcare. These courses provide continuing education and do not replace the formal education or practical training required for employment in a regulated healthcare profession.
Are the courses helpful for internationally educated healthcare professionals?
Yes. The courses can help internationally educated healthcare professionals refresh their knowledge, study Canadian healthcare topics, build confidence, and prepare for further education or examinations where applicable. They do not replace official licensing or regulatory requirements.

Are there any educational prerequisites?
Most CCACT continuing-education courses have no formal prerequisites unless the individual course description states otherwise. Students should be able to read and understand English well enough to complete the course materials and assessments.
Do I need previous work experience?
No. Most courses do not require previous healthcare work experience. Please review the individual course description before registering.
What are the English-language requirements?

Are there live classes or scheduled lectures?
Generally, no. CCACT’s standard online continuing-education courses are designed for independent study and do not normally require attendance at live classes or scheduled lectures.
How long do the courses take?

Is there a time limit for completing a course?

Will an instructor be available to answer questions?

What equipment do I need?
Students need a reliable internet connection and a computer, tablet, or suitable mobile device. A computer or tablet is recommended for easier reading and completion of assessments.
CERTIFICATES & ASSESSMENTS
Will I receive a certificate?
Students who successfully complete the course requirements will receive a Certificate of Completion. This confirms completion of a CCACT continuing-education course. It is not a diploma, degree, professional licence, or regulated vocational qualification.
Are there tests or assessments?
Assessment methods vary by course and may include multiple-choice quizzes, assignments, or practice examinations. Please review the individual course description for details.
What mark do I need to pass?
The required passing mark, if applicable, will be stated in the individual course information.
Can I use the certificate for employment or licensing?
The certificate may support a résumé or professional-development record, but acceptance is determined by the employer, educational institution, regulator, or licensing body. CCACT cannot guarantee employment, admission, licensing, registration, or immigration results.
LICENSING & IMMIGRATION
Do CCACT courses lead to professional licensing or registration?
No. CCACT courses do not by themselves lead to professional licensing or registration. Students are responsible for confirming requirements directly with the appropriate regulatory body.
Can a CCACT course help with an immigration application?
Completing a CCACT course does not guarantee a study permit, work permit, permanent residence, or any other immigration result. Immigration services are provided separately through Jean Robles Immigration Consulting.
Can I obtain a Canadian study permit for these courses?
CCACT’s short online continuing-education courses are not intended to provide eligibility for a Canadian study permit. Students should obtain professional immigration advice for their individual circumstances.
FEES, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
When do I pay the course fee?
Course fees are paid online during registration. Access is normally provided after payment has been successfully processed.
Are course fees refundable?
Course fees are non-refundable once enrollment or course access has been provided, except where required by law. Students should review the course description carefully before registering.
Can I transfer my enrollment?
Enrollments are non-transferable unless CCACT provides written approval. Please contact CCACT before registering if you are unsure which course is right for you.
Are textbooks or additional materials required?
Most required materials are included online. Any additional requirements will be clearly stated in the individual course description.
